- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Bring designated culinary dishes to life by carefully and safely preparing food according to direction and as ordered by the server
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standard
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Minimum of 1 year culinary experience
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, bending, stooping and kneeling
- Full open availability
- Proven cooking experience such as experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry’s best practices
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three months related experience and/or training.
