Job Summary:
As a Finishing Technician at Central Moloney, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our finished products. You will be responsible for performing secondary operations to manufactured products. You will also assemble manufactured products and purchased parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Painting semi-conductive coating, applying epoxy shields and patching, sawing, cleaning, degating, drilling, and deflashing.
- Assembly of switches, fuses, bushings, wells, speed mount I, II, and intermediate assemblies.
- Packing of parts to be shipped and construction of shipping crates.
- Follow written process procedures, housekeeping, and safety.
- Other jobs as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and keen observational skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements to perform job, such as extended standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-year previous experience in quality control/inspection or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or related role preferred.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $17 - $20 per hour.
- Targeted shift hiring for: Monday – Thursday 5:00 am – 3:30 pm, however, shift is subject to change per business needs.
- Some overtime and occasional weekends may be required pending business needs.
- Physical requirements may include standing for extended periods and lifting to 50 pounds unassisted.
