HVAC Contractor looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. The HVAC Technician is responsible for performing troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, heat pumps, commercial equipment, electric motors, exhaust fans, economizers, humidifiers, capacity controls, multiple types of compressors, split systems, rooftop units, and various other types of equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to service calls daily as scheduled.
- Perform consultations with customers.
- Determine customer needs and discuss all solution methods.
- Inspect current HVAC systems for efficiency and operation.
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Conduct performance tests with specialized tools.
- Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues.
- Repair damaged HVAC systems.
- Sell ongoing maintenance contracts to current customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment, tools, and HVAC resources.
- Must be punctual and adhere to a daily schedule with multiple appointments in different locations.
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in HVAC Service Industry preffered
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to regularly move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Detail oriented and customer service focused
- Strong listening and communication skills'
