Job Summary:
The Night Auditor at Courtyard by Marriott - Generation Park, TX is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of hotel accounting records, monitoring the hotel's front desk operations, and providing exceptional customer service to guests during the overnight shift. This is a full-time, hourly position within the hospitality/restaurant industry located in Houston, Texas.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Night Auditor will receive an hourly rate of $14 to $15 per hour, with biweekly pay periods. In addition to competitive pay, the role also offers opportunities for career advancement within Marriott International, as well a generous hotel and travel discounts.
Responsibilities:
Conduct night audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of all hotel accounting records, including guest accounts, folios, and room rates.
Process transactions related to the front desk operations, such as check-ins, check-outs, and room charges.
Respond to guest inquiries and needs throughout the overnight shift, providing exceptional customer service.
Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately and on time.
Conduct regular security checks of the hotel to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
Assist with conducting nightly inventory counts and restocking of hotel supplies.
Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest requests are fulfilled in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Follow all hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience in hotel front desk operations and/or night audit is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Exceptional customer service skills and a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
