Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy School in the US
- Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy if the applicant graduated on or after 2016.
- Applicants who graduated from a Physical Therapy School outside the US must be able to submit a Healthcare Worker Certificate.
- Current license/certification in the state of Nevada is required.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation and supervision, training, and/or experience in a long-term care or sub-acute setting preferred.
Position Summary: The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients in the skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, be competent in assessing a variety of diagnoses, administer and interpret standardized assessments, and be able to supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure compliance with the Physical Therapy board practice act.
