Patrick Industries is seeking a critical partner to join our team! This role will be responsible for pre-employment engagement activities for new Team Members including recruitment events, interviewing, onboarding, and post hire Team Member events. This position’s responsibilities will span across the Talent Acquisition and Human Resource teams.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Schedule internal and external interviews including organizing travel arrangements for candidates as necessary.
- Complete all pre-employment activities and paperwork such as reference checks, background checks, pre-employment illegal substance testing, new hire paperwork, and data entry.
- Partner with managers to prepare for new hire arrivals by assisting in securing workspace(s), company equipment, and conducting new hire team member orientations.
- Perform HR related vendor/expense responsibilities to include processing invoices, candidate expenses, coordination of marketing collateral and interacting w designated vendors to ensure HR processes are accurate and complete.
- Coordinate Internship recruiting, campus events, interview intern candidates, and coordinate post hire intern activities.
- Produce/Create recruitment related collateral for career fairs and candidate interviews.
- Facilitate and participate in activities/assignments related to campus, community, or other employer sponsored events.
- Work with vendor to ensure employment onboarding packets are up to date with current materials on a quarterly basis.
- Establish and develop solid working relations with hiring managers, recruiters, candidates, and new hires.
- Create workflows and/or SOPs for the pre and post hire processes.
- Achieve proficiency in SAP recruiting, onboarding, and HR modules.
- Support and coordinate Team Member engagement activities for 990.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience or relevant work experience.

- Highly self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
- Organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Capacity and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel 25% of the time throughout the year to attend campus, community, and/or networking opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment processes including experience in sourcing candidates, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Those who are bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desired.
- Direct experience with HRIS systems is a plus!
