Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect (Level III or higher) to take on the role of Discipline Coordination Reviewer. This position requires an individual with an in-depth understanding of the integration of building systems within a set of construction documents, including structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and landscape. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, open to comprehensive training, and adept at applying new skills within our proprietary review processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed reviews of architectural drawings across all project phases.
- Coordinate scopes from various consultants and identify inter-disciplinary conflicts and documentation gaps.
- Ensure adherence to architectural standards and contribute to the development of best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Architectural registration preferred; professional degree in architecture, construction management, or engineering required.
- At least 10 years of experience in architecture or construction, with a significant focus on technical documentation and construction administration.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu
- Exceptional communication and management skills; must be capable of working collaboratively and effectively in a remote setting.
Critical Competencies:
- Receptivity to Training: Must be eager to learn and integrate CHECKSET’s unique methodologies. Our proprietary process requires adaptation and ongoing training.
- Transparent communication: Should maintain clear and ongoing dialogue with managers and team members, ensuring constant alignment with team goals and processes.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be required to undergo a paid 8-hour trial review as an independent contractor to assess technical capabilities and adaptation to our review standards.
