Job Description:
Mommy & Me Medical Group is looking for a Pediatrician who is eager to join a growing practice and ready for a panel of patients to rely on them to provide and coordinate their healthcare. Our Pediatricians provide medical care and treatment to infants, children, and young adults up to age 18. They diagnose, treat, and help prevent children’s diseases and injuries. Our Pediatricians communicate their examination results, treatment plan, and medical options to the patient’s parents and address any questions or concerns they may have. Our Pediatricians demonstrate patience and compassion with the goal of fostering long-term trusting relationships with our patients and their parents.
Responsibilities:
· Assess health by interviewing patients and/or parents; perform physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical history
· Determine abnormal conditions by administering and/or ordering appropriate diagnostic test (i.e. laboratory, radiology)
· Review diagnostic test results
· Diagnose medical condition(s)
· Provide medical care and/or develop treatment plan for patients
· Document medical care and/or treatment plan in EMR system in an appropriate and timely manner
· Promote health management and disease prevention including but not limited to education, counseling, and follow up instructions
· Participate in efforts to improve patient care processes and outcomes
· Maintain quality of medical care standards as defined by the practice
· Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· California Medical License required
· DEA License required
· Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Pediatrics degree from an approved school of medicine or pediatrics required
· Must meet IPA/Medical Group and Health Insurance credentialing requirements
· Board and CHDP Certified preferred
· Five or more years of experience in a Pediatric or Family practice preferred
· Proficient in Electronic Medical/Health Record system, NextGen preferred
· Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Pay: From $235,000.00 per year
