- Read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Documents and charts test results as required.
- Operate and use hand tools and shop machines required for production.
- Understand production wiring techniques and assembly of turbine engines.
- Understand and recognize electrical parts, components, and their operations.
- Assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical and related equipment. Run conduit and perform wire terminations according to drawings.
- Work with National Electrical Code.
- Work with hazardous areas and intrinsically safe areas in conjunction with turbines and associated equipment.
- Operate and understand Motor Control Centers, Fire and Gas systems, Generator Control and Vibration instrumentation.
- Receives instructions from blue prints (in both English and metric scales), instruction sheets,
and verbal and written instructions from other test facility engineers, supervisors, and managers.
- Maintain communications with Engineers, Quality Control, Parts Department, and Company management
- Will follow Quality issues and record keeping, maintaining and follow all safety standards and observe all company policies and standards.
- Maintain a clean and working area.
- Performs all work following safety and company rules.
- Works in team methods or independently as required.
- Maintains and update production files as necessary.
- All other assigned duties.
- Enforce and practice company work instructions and any quality control system programs that are implemented by the company.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Specialized skill training/certification preferred
