Status: Full Time- 40 hours per week

Overview
Join the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank, a cornerstone of community support, as our Database Administrator & IT Strategy Manager. This pivotal role oversees our technological and data frameworks, enhancing our capability to deliver essential services effectively. As a steward of both our data integrity and technological advancements, you will empower us to make data-driven decisions and optimize our resource allocation.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Data Management:
- Spearhead the management of key data systems including Compass 360 (client & service data), Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT (CRM for donors, volunteers, and other constituents) and other databases.
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous quality control measures and analytics, continually asking: How accurate is our data? What is it telling us? What should it tell us that it currently does not?
- Lead initiatives to translate data insights into actionable strategies that drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create and maintain reports for ongoing operations and grant proposals.
2. Technology Leadership:
- Oversee all aspects of the organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networking, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Collaborate with external contractors to enhance tech support, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across systems.
- Proactively evaluate and adapt new technologies that align with and advance our mission.
- Work closely with IT vendors to maintain operations.
3. Security and Compliance:
- Implement stringent security protocols and regular audits to safeguard sensitive information.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices, maintaining the trust of our clients and donors.
4. Capacity Building:
- Design and deliver training programs focused on elevating technological fluency across the organization.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of innovative solutions and best practices in data management and technology usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in data analytics and IT management.
- Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a nonprofit environment.
- Proficient in SQL and capable of constructing and optimizing complex queries to manage and analyze large datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage advanced pivot tables for complex data analysis.
- Expertise in managing complex databases and IT systems, with a proficiency in data visualization tools and CRM software.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute data-driven strategies that address and anticipate organizational needs.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership qualities and a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
