Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Technician to join our team. As a QA Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. Your responsibilities will include conducting quality inspections, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with USDA regulations and GMP standards.
Duties:
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Follow company's SSOP to ensure product specifications are met
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends or issues in product quality
- Assist QA Manager to prepare for audits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality records
Experience:
- Previous experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment
- Knowledge of USDA regulations and GMP standards is preferred
- Proficiency in using Microsoft office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify deviations from quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement corrective actions
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
