Description of Duties:
The Linux Engineer will use deep technical expertise, business acumen and fluid communication skills, work directly with a client in a trusted advisor relationship to gather requirements to analyze, design and/or implement technology best practice business changes. The Linux Engineer will be responsible for supporting daily activities and efforts that deliver desired outcomes, including – but not limited to:
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 5 years’ experience minimum
- Maintaining the programs Linux operating systems (RHEL and AL2)
- The Linux Engineer must have significant experience with Linux, Cloud (AWS Core Infrastructure), image build automation, Infrastructure as Code, and scripting in bash or python.
- Coordinate closely with Security teams to understand vulnerabilities and required remediation timelines.
- AWS EKS, EMR and overall container skills are a plus.
- Provide knowledge in industry, process, or technology areas.
- Plan and manage the work of information systems project teams.
- Design and implement new organization structures, conceptual design, and development of training curricula.
- Assist an organization to translate its vision and strategy into core human resources and business process.
- Lead clients through streamlining, reengineering, and transforming business processes.
- Develop and execute project budgets.
- Able to perform more varied and difficult tasks.
- Able to work in a collaborative team environment to obtain the best results.
- Work as a topmost trusted partner with aFit and the client.
- Provide attention to details.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
