Project Manager (New York Cap-and-Invest)

You will be responsible for managing development of an Auction Platform, Market Registry, and related Financial and Market Monitoring Services, for the New York Cap-and-Invest program.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Program Manager to ensure timely planning, management, and tracking of progress, including analysis and reporting of related data points and benchmarking across the program’s work streams.
- Follow up on action items for a team across multiple departments, set up meetings, perform note taking Review project deliverables and report on/evaluate project performance targets.
- Develop strategies and tactics for program implementation, monitoring, and effectiveness and, as necessary, make recommendations on areas for improvement.
- Test systems, identify and assist in troubleshooting problems and issues as they relate to platforms and activities.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of project and contract management experience; contract negotiation knowledge within Cap-and-Invest Program
- Adept at managing multiple diverse activities simultaneously, operating with speed, accuracy and strong judgment.
- Experience managing large, complex, multifaceted projects.
- Self-motivated, independent and works well with a team.
- Experience with energy policy and regulations, commodity markets, or cap and invest programs are highly desired.
- Bachelors degree required. Project Management certification preferred
