Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing speech and language services to students with disabilities in an educational setting.. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech and language abiilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals
- Provide direct therapy services to patients, including exercises, techniques, and interventions to improve speech and language skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate student improvement and ensure effective speech/language outcomes
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting educational care plans as necessary
- Educate students and their families on strategies for improving communication
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Clinical experience in speech/language therapy
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
