3+ years a must at a design firm
Hours: Monday through Friday 10am – 5:30pm- present 7.5 hours
Saturday 1-2 per month
11:00-4:00
Work Location: 99 9th Street S. Naples, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time (Ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines and Saturdays.

Job Description: Administrative Interior Design Coordinator at Bennett Interior, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations. Your exceptional organizational and strong communication and marketing skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail, will contribute to maintaining a positive and productive work environment. This position requires someone who can multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and provide exceptional support to both our team and clients.
IDEAL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:
- Positive attitude, ability to take initiative and follow-up, strong work ethic, creative mind.
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or architecture from an accredited institution or combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in interior design.
- .Competent in AutoCad, photoshop, Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Outlook experience.
- Canva, Studio Designer | Design Files or related software knowledge is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to partake in installs and work on feet several hours a day as needed.
- Must have reliable means of transportation and a valid driver’s license.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Assist with the coordination and preparation for client meetings.
- Participate in client meetings to establish design direction, take notes and determine project goals.
- Assist with the preparation of weekly updates for clients on the status of their project and orders.
- Assist with the preparation of architectural drawings with drafting staff, including dimensional plans and details. Complete review, markups, and scaling of shop drawings.
- Assist Designer with selections process to include interior and exterior paint and faux finishes, floor coverings, tile and grout, wall coverings, fabrics and treatments, light fixtures, furnishings and finishes, accessories.
- Resourcing, pricing and preparing quotes, providing to designer and client.
- Complete errands for the design team. Picking up and dropping off samples, shipping, presentation preparation.
- Maintain materials library and coordinate vendor presentations with manufacturer’s reps.
- Prepare design presentations including design concept and assist with interior furnishings and material.
- Perform duties as assigned by project manager/lead designer while keeping the project on schedule.
- Review client billing reports regularly with lead designer and submit for processing.
- Complete tile diagrams to include material selections.
- Complete furniture, lighting, and accessory schedules.
- Prepare and coordinate schedules for subcontractors and delivery/installation.
- Assist with installation coordination, tracking of orders, and reporting discrepancies or damages to vendors.
- When items are received, confirm their correctness, inspect for damage and expedite any returns necessary.
- Facilitate client deliveries, ensure correctness and integrity as well as placement of furnishings, window treatments, accessories, and artwork.
- Attend job site visits with clients and lead designer throughout the duration of project.
- Attend marketing meetings to produce clientele take notes.

- Inventory all client installations and ensure punch list services are executed in a timely fashion, handle any additional ordering required.
- Maintain time records of all work activities while staying on budget.
