What Does an Inside Sales Representative Do?
An Inside Sales Representative plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
Responsibilities:
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Understand customer needs and equirements; provide customers with appropriate solutions.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Collaborate with channel partners to build a pipeline and close deals.
- Perform effective online demos to prospects.
- Work with the content team to create video demos for products/solutions.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to the product team regarding product improvements or new product requests.
Requirements and Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in inside sales within the audio-visual industry.
- Consistent history of exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Robust phone skills, capable of making multiple outbound calls daily.
- Skilled in using various enterprise-level productivity and web conferencing tools.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or comparable CRM systems.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Advanced listening and presentation skills.
- Proven aptitude for multitasking, time management, and prioritization.
- Quick learner with the ability to grasp a product catalog featuring over 300 items.
- Holding a CTS, CTS-I, or CTS-D certification is a definite advantage.
