We are a dual small animal practice, one general practice doctor, and a board certified Ophthalmologist, looking to add an experienced R.V.T. to our team. This position requires the ability to help with client education and procedures, treatment room, dentistry, pharmacy areas, laboratory, and X-rays. We are an established team looking for a positive attitude and someone who can work with the general stresses that the veterinary field can bring. You must be able to follow directions, be a quick learner, and great with communication.

- Assist Veterinarians where needed
- Proper restraint and handling of patients
- Give injections
- Perform appropriate veterinary nursing procedures
- Efficiently draw blood on patients and place IV catheters
- Run in-house lab work
- Prepare and send out outside lab tests
- Take radiographs
- Surgical preparation of patient and surgery suite
- Knowledge of surgical equipment and ability to setup and assist the doctor during surgeries
- Care of hospitalized pets
- Counsel clients on care
Experience: Minimum of 2-year hospital experience is preferred.
Shifts: Hours include 8-hour shifts Monday- Friday and a rotating half day on Saturday.
