Job Overview:
We are seeking a pediatrician to take over patients for a retiring physician. The ideal candidate will provide medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of various pediatric illnesses.
Duties:
- Conduct routine check-ups on young patients to assess their growth and development.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, infections, injuries, and other health problems specific to the pediatric population.
- Administer vaccinations according to the immunization schedule.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
- Educate parents and caregivers on child health issues and preventive care measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records of patients' diagnoses, treatments, and progress.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- State medical license to practice as a Pediatrician.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric treatments, medications, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with young patients and their families.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and aseptic techniques.
- Experience with discharge planning and data collection processes.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate medical billing.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $175,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
