Title: Leadership Development Trainee
Pay Range: $25 to $27 hourly plus OT
Location: Multiple Locations – Must be willing to relocate upon completion (Central Coast)

Summary:
As a participant in our Leadership Development Program, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of the lumber industry. This program is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge required to oversee one of our seven branches, spanning from Redwood City to Santa Barbara. Through a combination of hands-on experience and comprehensive training, you will cultivate a strong foundation for future leadership roles within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
On-the-Job Training: You will engage in a structured rotational program, spending several weeks in each department. This approach will enable you to gain in-depth expertise in various roles, ensuring a well-rounded skill set. You will receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced team members. This practical experience will be complemented by structured learning modules, self-paced reading materials, and direct instruction from our most seasoned colleagues.
Intensive Learning: Be prepared for an immersive and challenging learning experience through online courses, self-paced reading, and field trips to lumbermills and manufacturers. Our program is designed to push you beyond your comfort zone, fostering your personal and professional growth.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related business experience.
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Well organized, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
