The Professional group is seeking Passenger Service Agent Full Time for our client LATAM AIRLINES located in JFK International Airport .
Description:
The main responsibilities of this position are:
· Check-in passengers.
· Assist the passengers in Customs,
· Verify passengers’ documentation.
· Accept check-in and carry-on baggage to ensure compliance with company requirements.
· Direct passengers to boarding areas.
· Re-accommodate passengers in case of missed connections/cancellations/delays. When required, escort passengers to the designated hotel, assure that agreed services are provided by the hotel, provide information regarding flight status, and coordinate wake-up and pick-up.
· Issue accountable documents (MCO, TKTs, etc.).
· Complete documentation required to clear aircraft upon arrival and/or departure.
· Gate responsibilities on aircraft’s departure and/or arrival, jet bridge manipulator, placing and assembling a lay out, making announcements.
· Gate responsibilities on aircraft’s departure and/or arrival.
· Other responsibilities of similar nature to be assigned by operational leaders.
Qualifications:
· High school degree.
· Strong customer service background.
· Amadeus (GDS) and Sabre a plus.
· Fluency in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Where applicable, must be able to secure appropriate authority required to obtain and maintain United States Customs Clearance and Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badges
