Position Summary:
This position receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists with unloading trucks, checking in merchandise and matching purchase orders to sales orders.

Pull, pack, ship orders in accurate manner.

Reads customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.

Moves materials and items from receiving to storage and/or designated areas.

Sorts and places materials on shelves and bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code.

Assists in counting physical inventory and data entry input.

Opens crates and assesses all products and pallets and notifies manager of any damage.

Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed via SI system.

Prepares parcels for mailing

Complies with established procedures concerning equipment inspection and sign-out.

Restock, label, and track inventory.

Process and submit returns to venders.

Sweeps and organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

Create and process purchase orders for install and service departments daily and on an emergency basis.

Update price lists in computer system and on purchase orders.

Process and submit item return authorizations to venders.

Works in compliance with the company’s safety manual with safety of self and others in mind at all times

Operate forklift to load and unload products.

Maintain required HazMat, Forklift and ATF certifications.
