DESCRIPTION:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Director of Elementary/Secondary Academics in various curriculum-related tasks.
- Maintain, organize, and update curriculum documents, materials, and records. Ensure the accuracy and accessibility of curriculum resources.
- Facilitate effective communication within the department, with other district personnel, and external partners as necessary.
- Manage the Executive Director's calendar, schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate travel arrangements when needed.
- Assist in the organization of curriculum-related meetings, workshops, and events. Prepare agendas, take minutes, and ensure that materials are readily available.
- Accurately enter and update curriculum data, compile reports, and maintain databases as required.
- Ensure compliance with district curriculum policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist in developing and updating curriculum documents as needed.
- Cultivate and maintain a professional and welcoming office environment.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with district employees, educational partners, and external agencies involved in curriculum initiatives.
- Represent the curriculum department and the school district in a positive manner when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and materials related to curriculum activities. Recommend purchases and maintain inventory records.
- Pursue opportunities for professional growth and skill development to enhance job performance.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Executive Director of Elementary/Secondary Academics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Above average skills in typing and record keeping
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality
- Ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.95 - $21.95 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
