Unique and exciting opportunity to join the team as a Front Desk Supervisor at the Hotel Oceana in Santa Monica, CA, the #1 Hotel in Los Angeles as voted by Travel and Leisure! This oceanfront, all-suites hotel reopened in July 2019 after undergoing a $30 Million transformation, and we are now seeking motivated, enthusiastic professionals to become integral members of our team.
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for you will be responsible for accurately checking guests in and out of their suites, answering phones, and ensuring that all guest requests are promptly met.

Requirements:

At least two years of hotel Front Desk experience for a luxury hotel or resort

Experience working with Hilton Reservations Systems software
-
Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Able to work a hospitality schedule that will include weekends and holidays

Willing to conform to hotel dress and grooming standards, which include wearing the hotel-issued uniform, no visible tattoos while wearing a uniform, no unnatural hair colors, no piercings other than one pair of earrings, and neatly groomed facial hair.
Duties include (but not limited to):

Check guests in and out of rooms; ensure that all guest information is accurate and up to date

Assist the Front Office Manager with various tasks, including resolving guest concerns and reports, managing the front desk team

Provide value-added service to guests by meeting and anticipating needs and expectations

Resolves guest concerns in a thoughtful and friendly manner while maintaining hotel standards

Act as a full-capacity concierge at the hotel – escorting guests to their room, booking dinner reservations and spa appointments and curating custom LA experiences for guests

You will work full-time on a schedule defined by operational needs.
