Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and development of CEQA and NEPA documents including Categorical Exemptions, Environmental Impact Report (EIR), Initial Studies/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND), Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), Environmental Assessments (EIS).
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Project management including the development of project scopes, monitoring budget control, tracking schedules, and personnel allocation/planning.
- Participate and/or present at project and public meetings and lead in preparing meeting materials and documenting meeting results.
- Lead and/or participate on efforts in business development and marketing, and manage efforts in preparing and submitting proposals, and attending proposal interviews.
- Ability to execute work in a largely unsupervised manner and taking responsibility for project assignments and quality of work.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science/Art’s Degree in Environmental Planning, Studies or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Minimum of 9 years of real experience managing/preparing CEQA documents for public agencies or private entities. Preparing NEPA documents is a significant plus.
- Minimum 4 years as a Project Manager and/or Deputy Project Manager on environmental planning projects.
- Strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving and research abilities.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
Signing Bonus
- Up to $5,000 bonus after 6 months
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $146,000.00 per year
