Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing quality education and care to our students. You will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the development of each child. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum goals - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow - Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in active learning - Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience - Incorporate technology into lessons to enhance learning opportunities - Manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary - Support students with special needs, including those with developmental disabilities or autism - Foster literacy development through reading activities and language-rich experiences - Promote physical education through active play and structured movement activities Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required) - Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (required) - Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices - Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism (preferred) - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Proficiency in learning technology tools and platforms - Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment - Understanding of behavioral health concepts and strategies We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
