The Investigative Auditor at ASG is responsible for ensuring ASG, its employees, and those who work with ASG meet the highest standards of honesty, accountability, and efficiency. The Investigative Auditor is responsible for conducting detailed forensic audits and systemic reviews of ASG systems, processes, procedures, and departments. This position performs basic internal auditing and investigations designed to assure the accuracy and effectiveness of all operating policies, procedures, and systems. In conjunction with Risk Management staff and corporate counsel, the Investigative Auditor works collaboratively to audit and identify issues, inefficiencies, and waste and report the findings.

What you’ll do: (Including, but not limited to):

Develop audit plans to test the design and effectiveness of internal controls and processes

Execute financial, compliance, operational, and performance audits as assigned within the allotted time

Review and appraise departmental operations to determine compliance with company policies, laws, rules, and regulations
-
Identify potential compliance, conduct, and reputational risks; effectively escalate to appropriate individuals

Assist with analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting proposed and perspective professional standards and best practices

Assist in audit follow-up procedures and monitoring activities to determine the implementation of corrective actions and recommendations

Collaborate with company departments to establish attainable performance standards and measures for the department to validate efficiencies of methods and operations

Prepare clear, concise written audit reports, and presentations summarizing findings and observations

Execute multiple projects at the same time while meeting tight deadlines

Review conclusions and recommendations with C-Level management

Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the responsibilities of this job classification
What you’ll need:
General
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Legal Studies, or related field a plus.
Technical
-
2+ years of experience conducting complex investigations or performance audits
-
1+ year of experience at a law enforcement agency, investigative agency, or investigations and audit firm
Desired Skills

Proven ability to perform data analysis, analyze internal controls and policies, conduct interviews, and write detailed reports

Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume work environment
