Meat Procurement Manager Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years in the meat procurement business with established industry connections

Familiarity with poultry business and export regulations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently

High level of organization and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Collaborative and team-oriented, while also being adaptable to changing market needs

Meat Procurement Manager Responsibilities:

Oversee market development efforts to establish and grow meat trading operations targeting the Chinese market

Ensure compliance with EPA, FDA, and USDA regulations while expanding operations

Manage data collection and analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges

Develop and maintain detailed progress reports to monitor activities and growth

Identify opportunities for exporting EV chicken to China, securing trade deals for chicken paw and hog products, with goals to increase volume (short-term 10 loads/month, mid-term 40 loads/month, long-term 100 loads/month)

Research and select processing facilities capable of handling a minimum of 800, 000 units per week

Collect data on hog, sow, and boar parts, ensuring compliance with EPA, FDA, and USDA regulations

Maintain strong relationships with facilities and CEO-level contacts

Collaborate with agricultural and meat departments of key universities to stay up-to-date with industry standards

Provide daily progress reports on contacts and deals, building a robust network of suppliers to facilitate smooth procurement and export operations
