Homeowners association looking for a full-time maintenance person. Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds.
The maintenance custodian:
- Must be mechanically inclined and have basic knowledge in the use of hand tools, power tools, and power equipment.
- Must be able to make minor mechanical repairs, recognize equipment problems and recognize serious problems to be reported to the maintenance supervisor.
- Should have work experience closely related to the requirements for this position.
- The maintenance custodian is responsible for cleaning and repairing in the following areas:
- Interior cleaning of floors, walls, furniture, windows, emptying of waste receptacles, bathrooms, locker rooms and exercise equipment.
- Plumbing such as emergency shutoff of all water sources, opening drain clogs, and the repairing of leaking fixtures.
- Electrical including the control of circuit breakers, operating appliances, and light bulb replacement.
- HVAC including the monitoring of boilers, fan maintenance, filter equipment, control emergency shutoff switches, and thermostats.
- Landscaping including lawn mowing, edging, bed care, leaf removal, and trimming of bushes and trees.
- Grounds services such as snow removal, walk shoveling and sanding, beach raking and cleaning, and lake weed cutting.
- Minor carpentry repairs such as repairing loose decking and railings, and maintain the function of doors and windows.
- Swimming pool water testing and pool cleaning.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
