Customer Service and Order Entry Representative (Manufacturing)
Up to $28.00 per hour plus full benefits with OT paid at time and a half
As Customer Service and Order Entry Representative, you will:
- Receive complete training
- Join the Customer Service Department
- Communicate with customers by phone and email
- Answer questions and address inquiries
- Provide information on product details, pricing, availability and lead times
- Create price quotes
- Take, enter and process orders
- Make updates to customer account information
- Arrange and track shipments
- Expedite 'rush' orders as appropriate
- Coordinate with internal teams
- Administer changes, adjustments and cancellations of existing orders
- Troubleshoot issues and complaints as they arise
- Escalate complex issues as necessary
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- At least 2 years of Customer Service, Customer Support and/or Call Center experience from a manufacturing and/or distributing company.
With:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Accurate Data Entry skills
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent
Pluses:
- +++ EDI Proficiency
- +++ AS400 Proficiency
