The Director of A&R is responsible for the coordination of assessments of incoming patients with A&R Counselors, coordinates Doctor’s assessments and initiates the Admission process with the Admissions Clerk. The A&R Coordinator provides technical assistance to the discharge planning process, under the direction of the Director of A&R. The Director of A& R works closely with Clinical, UM, Hospital Leadership and the community.

Direct the provision of 24-hour Intake services for the facility.

Develop, implement and revise corporate, facility and Intake policies and procedures within the guidelines of the Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the facility and taking into consideration the recommendations of the CEO, the Medical Director, the Director of Social Services and the Intake staff.

Review the progress, quality and effectiveness of all Intake programs.

Establish methods for evaluating nursing care practices, formulate plans for new programs and changes to existing programs, and initiate and/or utilize studies and research applicable to the development of nursing services.

Consult with the CEO on the development of long and short-term facility projects, goals and objectives of Intake.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
Education & Licensure: Master’s Degree preferred. Licensed to practice in the State of Illinois preferred.-
Experience: Two or more years’ experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting with supervisory experience preferred. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric hospital setting including customer contact preferred.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range for this role is $70,000-$85,000 annually. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Assistant Director of Intake!
