Job Description
Overview:
The Grower Relations Clerk manages grower relations and administrative tasks related to grower payments, scheduling, and record-keeping. This role requires a strong background in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Here’s what you’ll do:
The position will have numerous duties related to existing databases and will require the individual to develop an excellent understanding of our system and how it can be improved. The duties include but are not limited to the following:

Run packouts and upload information to the grower portal

Manage and maintain the Grower Portal
-
Create grower payment letters and coordinate mailing along with payments

Input harvest schedules into the Oracle database system
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
-
Manage and maintain grower contracts
-
Complete other administrative tasks as assigned
The position will interact on an ongoing basis with each of the Harvest Supervisors and will be responsible for the accurate and timely distribution and collection of all harvest information to and from the Harvest Supervisors.
Qualifications
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

At least 2 years of Ag-related, Grower Relations, or Communications experience

Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
-
Ability to work independently
-
Ability to communicate (written and verbal) on many levels, understanding the audience experience level
-
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, advanced preferred
-
Demonstrates knowledge of personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-
Two or more years of experience performing complex and responsible administrative duties
-
Must have a California Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods
-
Manual dexterity to handle office equipment and paperwork
-
May occasionally be required to travel to other worksites, which could involve walking, standing, or driving
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Some weekend work from home and potential overtime may be required.
Pay Range: $19.00-$22.00. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
