We are a very busy Tax and Accounting firm in Northern NY. We specialize in not only small businesses and being able to help our clients with all facets of their business financials, but also have a very strong Tax service client base. We also specialize in military tax returns and have currently clients in all 50 states and several foreign countries being processed yearly. We are looking for the right individual to join the team and help us continue to grow along side of our clients we support.
Candidate must have prior experience with knowledge of Quickbooks, payroll, tax accounting.
Typical duties include:
- Client bookkeeping service to include but not limited to data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, account reconciliation.
- Tax return preparation.
- Meet with new and current clients to evaluate needs and help guide in the right direction before meeting with the accountant.
- Additional office duties as needed
Applicant Qualifications:
- Strong ability to multitask
- Proficiency in MS Office and Quickbooks
- Organized
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work and communicate with clients and other staff efficiently
- Working knowledge of tax programs preferred.
- Willingness to grow knowledge and skills
Salary: DOE
