Job Summary:
We are seeking talented Project Architects for various direct hire client opportunities in Austin, TX.
As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of various architectural projects. This is a key role that requires strong technical skills, project management expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality designs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements and goals
- Develop architectural designs and prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, and other design software
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and address any design or construction issues
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and interns
- Review and approve construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, and material selections
- Utilize project management software such as Bluebeam to track project milestones and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance in all architectural designs
Experience:
- Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect, preferably in K-12, Higher Ed, and commercial projects
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, NavisWorks, 3ds Max, and other design software
- AIA Registered Architect or in process
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exposure to Construction Administration
