What You'll Be Doing
We are in search of a community-focused Assistant Director of Nursing for Clinical Services!
A community focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated experience nurse leader with excellent command of the nursing scope of practice, North Carolina Board of Nursing practices, strategic planning, and team building skills will be an ideal candidate. This role provides an opportunity to fulfill the passion of serving our community from birth throughout life. The Assistant Nursing Director of Clinical Services position is a professional growth opportunity to take the lead developing creative clinical solutions to community services barriers.

The Assistant Nursing Director of Clinical Services will:
Use research and evidence-based practice to create, update, and ensure standing orders for community vaccinations are built on safe practice
Organize, coordinate, and serve the community by creating guidelines and practices that support client and patient care excellence in new and existing services and initiatives
Be responsible for education, implementation, and adherence to State and Wake County Health and Human Services policies of practice

The Basics (Required Education and Experience)
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Four years of Nursing experience in a related field
North Carolina Board of Nursing, Licensed Registered Nurse
CPR
AED
Equivalent education and experience are accepted
Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)
Master's degree in Nursing or related field (i.e Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Education)
5 years of Clinical Nursing experience
2 years of Nursing Leadership experience
Public health experience
Clinical experience with pediatrics, immunizations, women's health, obstetrics/gynecology, or sexually transmitted infections populations

Experience in organizational nursing leadership
Transferrable skills to the public health sector
Comprehension of and writing ability for policies, procedures, and evidenced-based nursing practices
Comprehensive understanding of North Carolina Board of Nursing Practices and DHHS practices

Hiring Range: 120,000-133,000
