JOB SUMMARY
Maintains the financial health and integrity of the organization by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information; Responsible for overseeing the Accounting department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Accomplishes accounting and human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Responsible for running the month end processes, preparation of and review of journal entries, and preparation of and review of reconciliations.
- Financial Statement Preparation. This includes reviewing and analyzing financial statements prior to distribution, and ensuring statements are accurate and correct, review financial statement package before distribution.
- Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; proposing and initiating corrective actions.
- Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
- Ensure all tax payments are made on time.
- Review cash flow daily to avoid overdrafts.
- Review account reconciliations with the Controller on a quarterly basis.
- Maintains financial security by establishing internal controls.
- Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors in accounting or finance
- 5-7 years of experience: general ledger, supervision/leadership
- Knowledge of legal compliance; SFAS rules
- ERP system experience (Infor Syteline preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Can work independently and part of a team
- Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
- Experience in manufacturing a plus
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-orientated setting
- Strong organizational skills

Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,686.00 per year
