Job Description: The operations manager is responsible for the overall efficiency and profitability of day-to-day operations. The operations manager should have a proven track record in successfully managing multiple departments to maximize results. A key responsibility is also building and developing a team that will deliver on our elevated guest experience. Along with the development, continuous improvement and execution of policy and procedure to ensure the winery continues to evolve as we grow.
Duties & Responsibilities: Overall operations of the winery in partnership with other departments leads/managers to deliver on the vision, drive growth and profitability.
· Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company.
· Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
· Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity.
· Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
· Manage data collection for updating metrics and drive actions needed to support goals/results.
· Establish standards for personnel administration and performance.
· Recruiting, Hiring, and Training of tasting room employees and assist other department managers in the process.
· Oversee tasting room, gift shop department.
· Work closely with Wine club, Events, Food & Beverage managers to support and participate in other activities of the winery. (Events, Tours, VIP, ETC.).
· Maintain and drive accurate schedules for the tasting room area in partnership with all the other department managers.
· Maintain consistent and accurate inventory by executing on policy and procedure for all departments wine and merchandise.
· Work in partnership with the other managers to ensure guest experience is executed based on Altisima’s vision.
· Take the lead and participate in manager meetings, staff meetings, training session and other activities to build strong communication and drive employee engagement.
· Comply with company policies and ensure the staff participates in appropriate training and certifications.
· Participate in team efforts and perform additional duties as needed.
· Ensure you and your team maintain accurate record keeping and approval time worked.
· Flexible availability to ensure winery coverage during peak hours along with partnership with department managers to rotate opening and closing.
· Actively participate with other managers to ensure any additional policies and procedures are documented.
Job Requirements:

· 3+ years of experience in operations management

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
