Schneps Media is seeking an experienced Business to Business Event Sales Executive to develop and build new relationships and sponsors for our events in our Brooklyn/Manhattan/Bronx markets. The pay for this position is a base salary, plus commission and has the potention to earn up to $200,000, annually.
Business to Business Event Sales Executive Responsibilities:
- Prospect, contact and close new businesses and executives for our business to business events
- Working directly with clients to develop and nurture relationships to understand their needs
- Create proposals based on needs of clients to fulfill event, visibility and networking needs
- Upsell existing customers to higher visibility packages
- Prospect companies to sponsor events
- Ensure there is a smooth sales process for clients.
- Timely and accurate tracking of all sales activity in CRM
- Manage customer relationships and post-sales event content and statistics
- Meet event revenue goals
Business to Business Event Sales Executive Job Requirements:
- Goal oriented, persuasive, persistent and hard worker
- Excellent organizational, written & verbal communications skills and can interact effectively with a wide range of people.
- Experience with outbound sales, cold calling and eventl marketing
- A self-motivated individual able to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Have a keen attention to detail
- Must be digitally savvy with proficient computer skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 2 years of sales or telemarketing experience preferred
- Use of a car and a valid driver's license and use of a car to attend meetings, prospect client and to attend networking events
- Must live in Brooklyn or Manhattan or have easy access to Brooklyn/Manhattan/Bronx; knowledge of Brooklyn, Bronx or Manhattan is a must
- The daily in person requirement is a combination of remote/ hybrid
