Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer support skills, be extremely detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational abilities. This position will involve providing administrative support and ensuring smooth operations of the office.
Duties:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate individuals
- File and organize documents, both electronic and physical
- Assist with administrative tasks such as payroll entry, data entry, scanning, and photocopying
- Provide support to other team members as needed
- Finding and procuring materials needed for jobs
- Ordering and scheduling the pickup of materials needed for jobs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (most importantly Outlook and Excel)
-Experience with applications such as Autodesk and Clearstory (not required but preferred)
- Experience with Unions, including their benefits, agreements, etc.
- Willingness to learn
