Serves as a liaison to and is responsible for assisting all leadership including Regional HR Manager, GM, members and potential members with all aspects of employment including recruiting, retention, training, compensation and benefits and member development. Position has both internal and external customers and a strong “contact and service” focus. This position will report directly to the Regional HR Manager.
- Assist with Recruiting needs for multiple locations.
- Provide coaching and guidance to all members, including the entire leadership team, to assist in reinforcing the company culture and business strategies.
- Assist to develop employee relation procedures and strategic programs to address potential problem areas and apply proactive preventative measures consistent with labor laws and WCC policies and practices.
- Provide an advocacy/consulting role for members experiencing problems/issues that impact their jobs.
- Facilitate the recruiting and selection process.
- Coordinate and facilitate new member orientation process to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
- Assist in the formation and interpretation of policies and programs and administer appropriate procedures accordingly.
- Analyze training needs to identify member development opportunities. Develop, facilitate and deliver workshops and classes
- Coordinate and develop member event planning.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws such as EEOC, ADA, FMLA, etc.
- Process Unemployment and Workers Compensation claim including facilitating injured workers return to work.
- Administer and monitor benefits plans including communications to enhance the understanding and appreciation of benefits programs.
- Process governmental filings and report employment issues.
- Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data. Analyze data to identify trends or causes of personnel problems and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct formal exit interviews.
Serves as a Human Resources representative for the manufacturing facility performing several aspects of a Human Resources department. Work includes shifts beginning at 7:00am and also being flexible with hours to accommodate interaction with 24/7 or 24/5 shifts.
Requirements
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred with one-year relevant HR experience. Recruiting experience preferred.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
