Vital Heart & Vein was established in 1998 with a mission to provide high-quality and compassionate care to our patients. We are the largest private Cardiology practice in the Houston area, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care, and are comprised of 40 board-certified physicians specializing in cardiovascular disease, cardiac electrophysiology, interventional and structural cardiology, vascular and endovascular surgery, podiatry, and endocrinology.
Vital Heart & Vein offers the most advanced and up-to-date technology in both diagnostic testing and comprehensive therapies for coronary, electrophysiology, vascular, and vein diseases treating patients throughout the greater Houston area with 16 practice locations, including Humble, Kingwood, Pearland, Southeast Houston, West Houston and the Texas Medical Center.

**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Clinical Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Clinical Operations within a large Physician Practice setting, with Cardiology experience preferred. As the Executive Director of Clinical Operations, you will serve on the executive team and play a key role in overseeing and optimizing our clinical processes. The executive Director of Clinical Operations will provide clinical operations leadership and oversight for a multi-site physician practice organization; currently the largest private cardiovascular physician practice organization in the Greater Houston region.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage clinical operations
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with physicians to optimize clinical operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive clinical excellence
- Supervise staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
**Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required,
-Master's in Business or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience in clinical operations management in a large physician practice setting
- Strong knowledge of Cardiovascular Services preferred but not required
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive results through strategic planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment
