***This is a Night Position for a regional paramedic supervisor for our operations in Greater Austin region***
The Regional Paramedic Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day operations including facilitation of internal communication between field staff and management, system status monitoring, facilitating short-term scheduling needs, equipment and supply coordination, as well as other operational support functions as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct, monitor, communicate with and evaluate all field employees in his/her assigned area in coordination with the Director of Operations
- Supervise and manage a team of paramedics and EMT's in Greater Austin region
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members
- Oversee the implementation of patient care plans
- Ensure that all equipment and supplies are in good working order
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
- Respond to emergency situations as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Promptly investigates incidents involving assigned units or personnel, including, filing of internal and external reports, and counseling staff.
- Ensure maintenance of adequate levels of staffing, equipment and medical supplies for field units by cooperating with the logistics department.
- Maintain communication with departments.
- Coordinates and update the Scheduler, on daily basis, on scheduling issues that arise.
- Serve on committees with other departments to set policies and generate ideas.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Maintain availability during disaster situations or mass casualty incidents and assist in any capacity needed.
- Provide CPR, BLS, ALS, and PALS Classes.
- Be professional, friendly, and cooperative with all employees.
- Be available to communicate with crew and management 24/7.
Qualifications:
- Ability to coordinate activities closely with others in stressful situations
- Ability to effectively communicate Verbal / Written English
- Ability to take direction and adapt to changing situations/job duties
- Experience with quality assurance, scheduling, and coordination.
- 5 Years experience in Emergency Medical Services preferred
- Active Paramedic Texas License
- EMS Instructor Certification
- Bachelor Degree in EMS or other related field is a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
