Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial and settings
- Perform electrical work according to building codes and safety regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan and execute electrical installations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete electrical tasks
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a residential electrician
- Proficient in frame carpentry techniques for electrical installations
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills to collaborate with construction teams and clients
