323 Staffing Solutions is partnering with a production facility in Louisville, KY to hire a qualified candidate for the role of Logistics Coordinator. This is a temp-to-hire job opportunity, and a great fit for someone looking for a long term career.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work closely with all departments to maintain open communications and facilitate optimal operational flow.
2. Work closely with the Logistics Management to optimize inbound flow to proper building.
3. Schedule/Coordinate all inbound/Outbound dock appointments daily and maintain all dock sheets on shared drives.
4. Create shipments, process shipments, and print all shipping paperwork required in the customers system and retail TMS (Transportation Management System) systems.
5. Maintain all shipping and receiving records to include BOL’s and direct shipment trackers daily.
6. Work closely with the management team to support customer needs.
7. Post shipments throughout the day within all customers’ systems as needed.
8. Post all incoming customer receipts in the customer system daily.
9. Maintain a courteous and professional approach with all business contacts and fellow employees.
10. Participate in all physical inventories as needed.
11. Any other task as assigned by the logistics manager.

· Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of 5 years’ related experience and/or training in a production environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and procedure manuals.
· Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to use a tape measure and other measuring devices.
· Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
· Well-developed written and verbal communications skills.
· Ability to interact professionally with all levels within the organization.
· Previous Logistics or Warehouse Management experience.
· Strong organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
· Good analytical skills and independent decision-making.
· Computer Skills – Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
