Business Development Manager—Montalbano Lumber

Job Description:
- Increase the company’s sales by supplying all the products for customers’ projects
- Increase the company’s customer base while retaining existing customers
- Developing and articulating the company’s value proposition
- Building meaningful and lasting relationships with existing customers
- Identifying, soliciting, obtaining, and retaining new customers
- Persuade customers to incorporate a greater number of Montalbano product offerings.
- Introducing and communicating the advantages of new products to the company’s customers
- Partnering with vendors to introduce new and market existing LBM products.
- Providing outstanding professional customer service and creating strong customer relationships.
Experience:
- Experience or knowledge identifying pipelines for new business growth, including new customers, markets, and developing strategies aimed at communicating the advantages of a product or service.
- Ability to define a customer acquisition strategy by identifying goals and determining actionable ways to reach them.
- Ability to develop and execute the strategies used to manage a company’s relationship with current and prospective customers.
- Experience in selling and knowledge of millwork products, particularly windows and doors, to building contractors.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license.
- The job may require lifting at least 35 pounds and sitting for long periods of time.
- Good computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
- Proven success in building and generating new sales while maintaining relationships with existing accounts.
- Possess an ability to present written and verbal information to company leadership, employees, customers, and public groups.
- Experience in communicating through social media.
- Ability to travel as needed

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
