JOB TITLE: Human Resources Assistant
BASIC PURPOSE: The Human Resource Assistant, in partnership with the HR Manager, will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including recruiting, onboarding, performance evaluations, employee relations, compensation, administering benefits, and enforcing company policies and practice.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support all core HR departmental areas, including payroll, benefits, HR admin, training and development, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and maintaining and improving HR systems.
- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Ensure the onboarding process is handled in a professional manner to expedite the settling in period.
- Overlook provider leave, to include receiving provider leave requests, updating provider leave summaries, inputting provider leave in various outlets for senior management, and ensuring coverage is identified by management.
- Identify and address staffing needs to include creation of job descriptions, posting job announcements via Indeed/company website, scheduling/conducting interviews, conducting reference checks, updating organizational charts, and maintaining all staffing related reports.
- Facilitate Benefits Administration to include enrollments for new hires, verifying monthly benefit invoices for accuracy, answering benefits related inquiries, and corresponding with insurance vendors for any issues/concerns employees may have.
- Overlook the Performance Management Program, to include collection of self-evaluations, manager performance reviews, and taking required action regarding merit/performance increases.
- Facilitate annual trainings for all employees to include the following: Customer Service, Sexual Harassment Prevention, Radiation Safety, HIPAA, OSHA, and more.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & SPECIFICATION:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management preferred.
- Experience: 2 years previous experience in Human Resources highly preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Must be proficient in use of PC and Windows OS, Quickbooks, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) able to communicate in a professional manner. Should be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be familiar with all equipment and processes needed to complete duties.

- Hours Required: Normal department operations are Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am – 1:00pm. Emergency work hours occasionally needed to satisfactorily complete job duties.
HOURLY RATE: Starting at $16.00 / HR. Based on qualifications/experience.
