Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team. As a Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Conduct group therapy sessions to address specific issues or promote personal growth
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques to assist clients in managing acute emotional distress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of therapy
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Provide direct support and guidance to clients in developing coping skills and behavior management strategies
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family, Substance Abuse Treatment or related field
- Valid state licensure or provisional license
- Proven experience in conducting therapy sessions and providing counseling services
- Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently
