MishiPay is a checkout technology company that empowers shoppers to checkout in the store using either self checkout via their own smartphones or using MishiPay's industry leading, minimalist, low cap-ex kiosks to self-checkout on a device inside the store. We create an enjoyable and convenient in-store shopping experience.
MishiPay now also runs Mobile POS, Click and Collect and Cash registers, so that merchants, who initially start with our self-checkout, can eventually run their whole store checkout process on MishiPay. With our technology, retailers have proven reductions in cost due to requiring fewer cashiers, a marked increase in sales due to improved basket sizes, higher frequency of shopper visits and reduction in abandoned baskets, and in addition, all of our retailers can additionally access priceless data about their customers. This enables a much better understanding of the customer journey in their bricks and mortar stores.
Role Description
We are growing and we're looking for two more full-time Account Executives, ideally one in New York, one in Denver. The Account Executive will be responsible for:
- Managing and growing customer accounts, building long-term relationships across a variety of retailers.
- Meeting sales targets and KPI's.
- Communicating product information to potential customers, explaining MishiPay's technology to non-technical and technical contacts at all levels.
- Conducting market research on competitors and similar in-house products developed by retailers.
About You
You should already have Sales and Business Development skills within a tech startup or very similar environment, be driven, energetic and happy to work in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you'll have knowledge and experience of retail technology and be able to explain our products clearly, concisely and persuasively.
You Will Have:
- Sales and business development skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience or knowledge of the retail industry, particularly in-store retail technology
- Problem solving, engineering mindset proven in past experiences
- Ability to work long hours required in a start up, to get to our ambitious goals
- A proven success rate of net revenue increase YOY >100%
- An ability to manage existing relationships and growth of existing clients
- Technical background preferred
