Full Job Description for HR assistant
Licensed Home Care Agency is looking for a Bilingual HR Coordinator (English, Spanish) (English Creole) for our office. Must be friendly and outgoing.
The qualified HR Coordinator is responsible to provide day-to-day coordination of HR activities. It includes intake and processing of the caregiver applications, scheduling orientation, and ensuring compliance with DOH
Responsibilities:
- Manages the HHA recruiting process from the application to orientation.
- Ensures that all new hire employee documents are completed and signed dated prior to the start date.
- Performs Orientation for new hires.
- Checks criminal background.
- Verifies HHA certificate.
- Checks exclusions.
- Checks references.
- Follow up with HHA’s for missing documents, entering data/updates for in-services, and medical reports. Ensures all employees meet compliance standards.
- Assists with the completion of employment verification and requests for job letters.
- Performs other duties as assigned by HR Director or as required.
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Attentive and detail-oriented with good communication skills
- Excellent customer care Skiles.
- Fluency in Spanish /or Creole
- At least 1-year experience in homecare
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and professionalism.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.000 to 50.000 per year
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
