Bender Transportation is seeking a qualified candidate to provide full time support with assigned responsibilities and tasks in multiple departments. Functions may have a recruiting compliance, HR or accounting focus. The ideal candidate will desire and have the ability to be involved in multiple unrelated projects and meet deadlines. Being detail oriented and thriving in an environment that is fast paced in nature is critical to the success of this position. Working with spreadsheets, confidential information and learning and understanding several systems and programs will be key for success. The role will report to the VP-HR-Capacity Development with a dotted line to the CFO based on projects and accountabilities.
B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, Including, But Not Limited To:
1. Assist with building and maintaining a strong Safety Culture throughout the organization.
2. Assist/lead AP, assist with weekly payroll, cash applications and various accounting related functions.
3. Perform final compliance reviews of all employees and contractors qualified for the organization and initiate and be responsible for the final hire/qualification process.
4. Perform routine maintenance of benefit administration system and assist with of the
5. Reconcile the billing/invoicing of vendors.
6. Administering needs in several systems to include EFS, Omnitracks, fuel system access.
7. Work with and become a fluid user of several systems includingTMS- Truckmate, Employee Navigator, Tenstreet, TruHu, Principal and other key sites used frequently.
