Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in various acting methods and techniques.
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive acting classes, workshops, and seminars.
- Guide students through performance exercises, scene study, and character development activities.
- Provide constructive feedback on students' performances, helping them enhance their skills and artistic expression.
- Assess student progress through rehearsals, assessments, and performances.
- Mentor and advise students on audition preparation, career development, and industry opportunities.
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in the field of acting, incorporating relevant knowledge into instructional practices.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum outlines, lesson plans, and learning materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Theatre, Acting, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience as an acting teacher or instructor, preferably in a formal educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of acting techniques, theories, and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to students of varying skill levels.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring actors.
